Accessibility statement
Making the website easier to use.
Carrick Financial Health aims to provide a clear, usable website for as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our approach
The website has been designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, level AA in mind. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing process rather than a one-off statement.
Features provided
The website uses semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, visible keyboard focus, labelled form controls, clear error and status messages, responsive layouts, sufficient text contrast and navigation that can be operated without a mouse.
The pages do not rely on animation, autoplaying media or images to communicate the main service information. Text can be enlarged using browser controls and the layout adapts to smaller screens.
Known limitations
Some functionality is supplied by Wix and may change independently of the page content. The website is reviewed when material changes are made.
A telephone contact route will be added when the business number is available. In the meantime, enquiries and requests for information in an alternative format can be sent by email or through the contact form.
Getting information in another format
Email hello@carrickfh.co.uk if you need website information in a different format or need help making an enquiry. Please describe the information needed and the format that would assist you.
Reporting a problem
If you find an accessibility problem, include the page address, the issue encountered and the browser or assistive technology used where you are comfortable doing so. Carrick will review the issue and seek a practical correction.
