Website disclaimer
Clear about the support. Clear about the limits.
Carrick provides financial leadership and practical business support. The purpose, evidence, assumptions and limits of each assignment are agreed before work begins.
General information
The website describes areas in which Carrick may assist. It does not take account of your records, circumstances or objectives and should not be relied on as a complete answer to a financial, tax, employment, legal, regulatory or commercial question.
Health and social care support
Carrick provides business support to health and social care organisations. It does not deliver clinical care, provide clinical assurance or make safeguarding, clinical or regulatory decisions for providers.
Providers and their registered, clinical and governance leaders remain responsible for the care they deliver, regulatory compliance and obtaining appropriate clinical or legal advice.
Financial and corporate work
Fractional FD and CFO support, forecasts, financial models, tenders, payroll reviews, inspection preparation, transactions and business change are scoped as financial, commercial, administrative or project support.
Legal documentation, tax opinions or structuring, independent valuations, regulated financial or investment advice, statutory audit, formal insolvency appointments and specialist due-diligence opinions remain matters for appropriately appointed professionals.
No guaranteed outcome
No website wording, service description, example or testimonial guarantees a CQC rating, HMRC outcome, tender award, funding approval, debt recovery, business sale, purchase price, cost saving or other result.
Any deliverables depend on the agreed scope, the information made available, management decisions, third parties and the circumstances of the particular engagement.
Information and confidentiality
Initial enquiries should contain a short business outline only. Do not submit patient records, health information, employee files, identity documents, bank details or confidential transaction material through the website form.
Detailed or sensitive information should be shared only after an appropriate secure route and the basis of the proposed engagement have been agreed.
Professional and regulatory boundaries
An appropriately qualified or authorised specialist should be involved where an issue falls outside the agreed assignment or requires a particular qualification, licence, authorisation or statutory appointment.
